Ernesto, born in 1952, developed an early fascination with color contrasts. He studied under Theo Deisel and later attended art academies and university. In 1975, he held his first solo exhibition. Though declared artistically incapable in 1976, he was "rehabilitated" by the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1979.
